Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: September 1, 2026

← All Policies

Red Oak Notary & Fingerprinting Services, LLC is committed to ensuring that our website and services are accessible to all individuals, including those with disabilities, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and California Government Code section 11135.

1. Website Accessibility

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Our ongoing efforts include:

  • Providing text alternatives for non-text content
  • Ensuring all functionality is accessible via keyboard navigation
  • Maintaining sufficient color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements
  • Using clear, descriptive headings and labels for all form elements
  • Ensuring our site is compatible with common screen readers
  • Providing captions or transcripts for multimedia content where applicable
  • Using responsive design to support zoom and display scaling

We are continuously working to improve our Site's accessibility and welcome feedback to help us identify areas for improvement.

2. Known Limitations

While we strive for full WCAG 2.1 AA conformance, some third-party content or embedded tools may not fully meet accessibility standards. We are working to identify and address these gaps. If you encounter a specific barrier, please contact us and we will provide the information in an accessible format.

3. Service Accessibility — In-Person Accommodations

Red Oak agents are trained to accommodate clients with disabilities. We offer a broad range of accommodations for in-person notarial services:

  • Hospital and care facility visits for clients who are unable to travel — including bedside signings at hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and hospice settings
  • Signature by mark accommodation for signers who are unable to use a standard signature, per California Government Code section 8206
  • Accommodation for signers who cannot physically provide a fingerprint for notary journal purposes — the notary may note the reason in the journal
  • Extended appointment time for clients who require additional time due to disability, illness, or cognitive concerns
  • Wheelchair-accessible locations accommodated — please note this when submitting your quote request
  • Bilingual service available — Spanish-speaking agents available upon request
  • Patience and flexibility for signers with visual, hearing, or cognitive impairments
  • Coordination with facility staff at hospitals and care facilities to ensure agent access and signer preparation

4. Communicating Accessibility Needs

When submitting your quote request, please use the "Special Accommodations" section to inform us of any accessibility needs. This allows us to dispatch the most appropriate agent and prepare for your appointment. You may also call or email us directly to discuss accommodations before booking.

5. Third-Party Services

Our website may integrate third-party tools (such as payment processors or analytics) that we do not control. We encourage these providers to meet accessibility standards but cannot guarantee their compliance. Please contact us if you need assistance completing any process on our Site that is blocked by an inaccessible third-party tool.

6. Contact for Accessibility Concerns

If you experience any accessibility barriers on our Site or in connection with our services, we want to hear from you. Please contact us:

  • Email: info@redoaknotaryservices.com
  • Phone: (844) 534-1768
  • Available: Monday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM

We will make every commercially reasonable effort to provide you with the information or service you need in an accessible format within a reasonable timeframe. We do not discriminate against individuals with disabilities and are committed to providing equal access to all our services.

7. Ongoing Commitment

Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time event. Red Oak reviews its website periodically and trains agents on disability-related accommodations. We welcome ongoing feedback from users with disabilities to help us serve you better.

Report an Accessibility Barrier

We take accessibility reports seriously and aim to respond within 2 business days.
